Ninja Foodi - Short Ribs Recipe

Who doesn't love good BBQ?! My family definitely loves great BBQ. Tonight, we decided to finally use our Ninja Foodi to cook our ribs! We have grilled ribs multiple times using our Ninja Foodi Grill & Griddle so tonight we decided to try something different. We must say that the Ninja Foodi ribs using Street Kitchen's seasoning & sauce made our tummies happy!

How did we cook it?! Well, we used the recipe provided in our Ninja Foodi recipe book, but we added our own twist!

Supplies:

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of Street Kitchen, Sweet & Savory, Texas Style BBQ
  • 2 tablespoons of Kingsford Cajun spices
  • 2 tablespoons meat tenderizer
  • 1 rack uncooked St. Louis ribs (cut with 2-3 ribs per section)
  • 1 can of Coca Cola

Prep Time (42 minutes):

  • 1 box of Street Kitchen, Sweet & Savory, Texas Style BBQ
  • 2 tablespoons of Kingsford Cajun spices
  • 2 tablespoons meat tenderizer
  • 1 rack uncooked St. Louis ribs (cut with 2-3 ribs per section)
  • 1 can of Coca Cola
  • Season ribs with Street Kitchen seasoning, Kingsford spice, and meat tenderizer

Instructions:

  • Pour 1 12 oz. can of Coca Cola into Ninja Foodi.
  • Insert Ninja Foodi Cook & Crisp Plate into Ninja Foodi.
  • Place seasoned, uncooked ribs in Ninja Foodi Cook & Crisp Plate.
  • Attach the Ninja Foodi pressure lid while making sure the pressure valve is in the SEAL position.
  • Press the START/STOP button on the Ninja Foodi.
  • Press the PRESSURE button on the Ninja Foodi and keep the settings on HI.
  • Set the time to 20 minutes.
  • Press the START/STOP button on the Ninja Foodi.
  • When the Foodi has completed pressure cooking, move the pressure valve to the VENT position so that the pressure can be released.
  • Once all the pressure has been released, slowly remove the pressure lid. (Note: the pressure lid will not open until all of the pressure has been released.)
  • Reposition the ribs in the Ninja Foodi Cook & Crisp Plate.
  • Close the Ninja Crisping Lid.
  • Press the AIR CRISP button (the temperature defaults to 390 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Press the AIR CRISP button again then set the time for 10 minutes.
  • Press the START/STOP button on the Ninja Foodi.
  • Once the 10 minutes have ended, brush the ribs with the Street Kitchen BBQ sauce and pour the remaining sauce over all of the ribs.
  • Close the Ninja Crisping Lid.
  • Press the AIR CRISP button (the temperature defaults to 390 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Press the AIR CRISP button again then set the time for 3 minutes.
  • Press the START/STOP button on the Ninja Foodi.
  • When the internal temperature reaches 185 degrees Fahrenheit, the ribs are ready to serve.
